Article Processing Charges

The Afrocentric Legal Review (ALR) is committed to making scholarly publication accessible to researchers while maintaining the quality and integrity of its editorial and peer-review processes.

Any applicable Article Processing Charge (APC) will be communicated clearly to authors before publication.

Authors will not be charged merely for submitting a manuscript or for undergoing peer review.

Where an APC applies, the charge covers publication-related services such as editorial processing, peer-review administration, online publication, digital hosting, and preservation of the scholarly record.

The journal does not guarantee acceptance or publication in exchange for payment. Payment of any applicable publication charge does not influence editorial or peer-review decisions.

Authors should contact the journal for current information regarding applicable publication charges, waivers, or other payment arrangements.
