Authors may use AI tools for appropriate purposes such as language improvement, grammar correction, formatting, translation, and limited editorial assistance.
AI systems must not be listed as authors, because they cannot assume responsibility for the originality, accuracy, integrity, or ethical aspects of scholarly work.
Authors remain fully responsible for all content submitted to ALR, including text, data, analysis, references, interpretations, and conclusions.
Where generative AI has been used substantially in preparing a manuscript, authors should provide an appropriate disclosure describing the nature and extent of such use.
Authors should also verify AI-assisted content carefully and ensure that references, legal authorities, quotations, factual claims, and interpretations are accurate.
The use of AI must not replace the author's scholarly judgment, originality, or responsibility.
