Errata and Corrigendum

The Pan African Journal of Hospitality (PAJH) is committed to maintaining an accurate and reliable scholarly record.

Errors may occasionally be identified after an article has been published. Where appropriate, the journal will publish a correction notice and maintain a clear connection between the correction and the original article.

Erratum

An erratum is used to correct an error introduced during the publication or production process that affects the accuracy or presentation of the published article.

Corrigendum

A corrigendum is used to correct an error originating from the authors that is identified after publication.

Correction Procedure

Authors or readers who identify a significant error in a published article should contact the editorial office.

The journal will assess the reported error and determine the appropriate action.

Depending on the nature and significance of the error, the journal may:

  • Publish an erratum
  • Publish a corrigendum
  • Issue an editorial notice
  • Retract the article where necessary

Corrections will be linked to the affected publication where possible in order to maintain transparency and preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.
